This tour is both a visit of Valletta, impressive during the night, and a tour through the most spectral and mysterious side, the ghosts which inhabit it.
You will visit the streets of Malta’s capital dismissing the current population and moving to past times (not always so distant) and through buildings and corners get to know some of the stories which have laid the foundation of the city, as much as the Order of Saint John and the British Occupation, like the haunted house of Saint Ursula, the ghost of the Co-Cathedral or the spirit of the priest in Republic Street, among others.
You will also have free time to enjoy this charming city with its more physic and palpable inhabitants and commodities.

This tour involves mainly walking.
Some of the streets are dimly lit and as it gets darks visibility is reduced.

I would actually rate this a 2.5. It was okay but we were a bit disappointed with the guide. He kept on quoting from a book he was carrying and when he would tell us about a story and tell us the place was just around the corner and did not bring us there to see the place, this seemed to have his stories disjointed. If he told us about a particular door to a house story and it was only just around the corner, well bring us there and show us. The only thing I felt was worth it was when the guide talked about some history of the city. There was nothing about the Ghost Tour Theme that 'sold me. My husband and myself know that we were not the only person in the group to be disappointed.

This was a great, smaller group tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave a unique perspective on Valletta!

I did this tour my first night in Malta and it was a great way to learn a bit about the history in a spooky way. I've seen reviews that this tour is more a history tour, but as a history nerd, that's a positive for me. I try to do a ghost tour in every city I visit, so after over 20 ghost tours, this one was fairly solidly in the middle - not the spookiest, but the guide was clearly knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

Stories are interesting and scenery is nice. Although a bit unlucky with the busy evening in Valletta. It was difficult to understand the guide. It could have helped if he chose quite spots to tell the stories and/or raise his voice a little.
